GE Additive offers machines, software, consultancy, and powders for metal additive manufacturing. The 171,537 sf manufacturing space, paired with a 40,000 sf, two-story corporate office, provides a fresh, collaborative environment to attract new talent and support transformative technology.

The contemporary open office concept design blends crisp white geometry with the warmth of natural wood tones, creating a balanced and engaging space for staff, guests, and clients. The customer experience begins in the office and extends into the production warehouse, showcasing the advanced development of world-leading technology.

Modifications to the building shell included the addition of several windows, increasing natural light to enhance the quality of the space. For the additive manufacturing process, outdoor secure storage was added to accommodate tanks for hydrogen, nitrogen, and argon. Due to the use of combustible metal powders, safety controls are integrated into the building design to prevent ignition, including redundant electrostatic bonding, dust collection systems, and segregated powder storage.
