KUBOTA DISTRIBUTION CENTER

As a multinational manufacturer and distributor of residential and farm machinery, Kubota Tractor Corporation was in need of a state-of-the-art headquarters to support their expansive Midwest region of dealers and customers.

In line with their brand statement, For Earth, For Life, Kubota strategically selected a site in close proximity to the transportation and shipping efficiencies provided by the intermodal facilities of BNSF Logistics Park Kansas City (LPKC).

The 200+ acre site accommodates a 1,008,484 sf cross-dock facility designed for warehousing and distribution of fully assembled implements, and a 1,010,862 sf cross dock facility for warehousing and distribution of replacement and service parts. Additionally the site includes a 17,000 sf Midwest Regional Office Headquarters, and a 17,000 sf facility with extensive classroom and shop space utilized for hands-on training for dealers on operating and maintaining Kubota machinery.

The master-planned site will also accommodate plans for a future 1,000,000 sf domestic manufacturing facility.
