In July 2021, NorthPoint purchased the North Oak campus to move their expanding business units under one roof. While it required extensive renovation, the site held great potential.

To foster a collaborative culture, multi-functional spaces were created throughout, including a stadium-style meeting venue that connects the main entry to the employee amenity areas below. On the upper floors, ceilings were removed, and glass-fronted offices were positioned inward to allow natural light to filter through, providing everyone with panoramic views—something that was missing in their previous office location.

Conceptually, the design takes cues from movement and direction which draws the viewer’s eye to wander through the space. Interest was created by using directional flooring patterns, angled ceiling elements, architectural lighting, textural patterns and color for wayfinding. Exposing the existing concrete structure and brick juxtaposes the hospitality like communal areas, reflecting NorthPoint’s core business units of Industrial and Multi-family.
